5Ways To Rock The Office Look This Autumn
5Ways To Rock The Office Look This Autumn
As you probably already know, the standards for "business casual" attire vary widely across different localities, countries, and even continents. Business casual for women requires adhering to a few ground rules because how one presents themselves in the workplace can have a significant impact on one's professional success.
We’ll provide you with some guidelines for business casual
attire, formal functions, off-the-clock attire, and business trips. At the end
of this guide, We have included a list of items that should be avoided while
dressing business casually for women.
1. CozySweaters
Sweaters are quite flexible and may be worn in several ways,
including as a standalone piece, layered over another shirt, with slacks or a
skirt, or even as an outer garment over a dress. In this case, the sweater must
be a good fit, so avoid loose or ill-fitting sweaters. Thick, thick sweaters
aren't as practical as fine-gauge knits.
2. Tops AndBlouses
Blouses and tops are great options for injecting some color
or pattern into an ensemble. There is a plethora of options available in lovely
hues that will look great with your complexion, eyes, and hair. We welcome you
to dress in pastels, jewel tones, plaids, muted florals, and prints (paisley,
geometric, polka dot, ikat).
Wear long or three-quarter length sleeves in the winter, but
short sleeves or cap sleeves (or even a wide-strap tank top) in the spring and
summer. Cap-sleeved, sleeveless, and shell tops in silk, light cotton, or other
light fabrics are appropriate professional clothing during the warmer months.
3. Skirts
While jeans are the obvious choice for a casual day at the
office, don't discount skirts and dresses. Shirts that work with pants will
also look great with a skirt. Try a pleated, patterned, or solid-colored skirt
in a pencil or A-line shape. Make sure the slit in the skirt is not too high
and is appropriate for sitting if it has one. See what you like best by trying
on a wide range of hues and patterns.
4. Jackets And Blazers
In the winter, a jacket or blazer is required more for
warmth on the commute to and from the workplace than it is for use during the
workday itself, even if this is still considered business casual. That said,
you shouldn't assume you can get away with wearing your favorite denim jacket.
It is still important to maintain a professional appearance when wearing an
outer garment.
5. OfficePants
We prefer to wear a belt with our business casual pants, so we always make sure to get a pair with a medium waistband and no belt loops. It's easier to maintain a flat stomach in a garment with a higher and broader waistline. Additionally, if your stomach is an issue region, it is best to stay away from low and high-rise designs as they might accentuate your stomach. You can choose a lower-rise waistband if your stomach isn't your issue region.
